Wow! What a great time we had last weekend, what with the convention and the games and the give-aways and costumes and all. We’d offer to do it again real soon, but frankly, we need our rest. And you know what they say about too much of a good thing.
Thanks to everybody for coming out and showing their support for GnomeCon, and proving once again that geek culture is alive and well in Savannah, GA. A big shout out to our regulars Phil Keeling, Professor Fear, the Odd Lot Improv Troupe, and the Rogue Phoenix Star Trek club. And thank you to our new friends Jim O’Rear, Glenda and Tony Finkelstein, Mad Rupert, Tracy Yardley and so many others. Suffice to say that if you were at GnomeCon, you have our thanks and appreciation. We hope to see you all again very, very soon.
Once we’ve had a chance to rest, we’ll be posting numbers (I know, boring, right?) of how many attended and how much was raised on behalf of the Live Oak Public Library. And if you were volunteer, keep an eye on this space for our Appreciation Party coming up in a few weeks.
In the meantime, some of our roaming photographers have begun posting photos. Just click the links below to relive the memories.
