1-4pm – Spy: A role playing game of action and espionage. The agents travel to the Phillippines, where they uncover much more than the kidnapping of an admiral’s daughter. Beginners welcome.

2 pm – Descent: A continuous game of Descent, need 1 table for entire con near the Galactic booth. Sessions are 3-hour blocks. At the beginning of the con a party of 4 characters will be set up. Groups of up to 4 players take the party through an adventure, leveling and such as directed before turning the party over the next group of gamers to continue with the party in a campaign. Entry is FREE! Promos for participants. (Sign up times include Friday 2pm, 6pm, 10pm, Saturday 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10pm, & Final Sunday at 10am.)

2 pm – Robinson Crusoe Team Challenge: A team of four players take their chances surviving a scenario of Robinson Crusoe. Top scores posted throughout the con and top team after final session wins a prize $2 entry per player on the team per session. Prizes awarded for top team, promos for all teams (Sign up times include Friday 2pm, 6pm, 10pm, Saturday 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10pm, & Final Sunday at 10am.)

1-4pm – Battle of the Alamo: In 1836 a vast Mexican army has invaded Texas, and a few strong willed individuals have decided to take on the evil that now is making its way toward them!! Come join the Valiant defenders of the Alamo – Davy Crockette, Jim Bowie, William Travis and James Bonham – in a last ditch effort to destroy the enemy. Will it be the death of a rebellion, or a fight for freedom? You decide!!

4pm-7pm – Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective Co-op Game: Three sessions, 3 hour time slot, up to 6 players. Put yourself in the shoes of Sherlock Holmes as you work to solve the most devious cases. Entry is FREE!

6pm-10pm – Star Realms Tournament: $1 entry, Swiss rounds, prizes based on turnout.

7pm-11pm – Pathogen Unclassified, Apocalyptic Survival Horror role-playing game. Three years have passed since the terrible outbreak that took 80% of the population. They aren’t dead, but infected with a controlling parasite that leaves them hungry for flesh Join us; beginners welcome.

7pm-12am – Gamma World: Android Menace, 2nd edition. Murderous androids are repairing a warbot to wipe out your town. Join a squad of well-armed commandos tasked with raiding the android facility and destroying the warbot prior to its activation. This post-apocalyptic sci-fi RPG is easy to learn and easy to play; no experience necessary. Game master Eric the Cleric provides characters and all materials needed to play.Entry is FREE!

7pm-11 am – Star Wars Destiny Tournaments: Sealed deck (1 starter deck and 5 boosters) 3 rounds Swiss, Entry is the purchase of product. Prizes!!

7pm-Midnight – 1st Edition Dungeons & Dragons: 2 sessions, Friday & Saturday night until midnight, $2 entry. Friday’s adventure is “White Plum Mountain,” Saturday’s adventure tbd soon. DM Brian Greer will be providing all characters and resources. Just bring your favorite trusty dice. No experience needed.

8 pm – Dungeon Crawl Classics: If you are a fan of the classic dungeon crawls that harken back to the old days of TSR D&D, then we’d love for you to come experience the level 0 funnel offered by Goodman Games. The folks at Goodman Games cut their teeth writing modules for TSR when AD&D was released and continue to do so today. When 4th edition came out they decided to make their own d20 system and Dungeon Crawl Classics was born. We will be running Frozen in Time by Michael Curtis

8pm – Warhammer 40K Apocalypse Casual Game: Free casual event. Bring up to 3000 points and join us for a great evening of gaming fun. Prizes!!

DEMOS! Galactic Comics & Games will be hosting a lot of demo/pick-up games with all sorts of promos to give away throughout the con.

D&D 5th Ed Adventurers League: Galactic Comics & Games will be hosting 3 D&D Adventurer’s League Adventures originally written for Gamehole Con 2016. These include “Tharaera Lost” DDALGHC-01, “Skulljaw Hill” DDALGHC-02, & “Facing the Dark” DDALGHC-03. Galactic will be hosting at least 2 sessions of each, 3-hour block. Times will be available later. We are play-testing them to see if they can be run all at once with a break or two. We could be running some additional Adventurers, trying to nail down DMs.

10am-6pm – Miniature Painting: Practice your mini painting skill for Sunday’s competition. Minis, paints and supplies will be provided. Beginners welcome. Look for us near the Pathfinder Society.

10:30 am-1:30 pm – Lord of the Rings: In the days leading up to War Isengard sent out raiding parties to destroy human settlements within striking distance in the Westfold. Forces to Include Riders of Rohan; Warriors of Rohan, Local militia on foot; local farmer’s levy and civilians; party of Elves on foot; party of Gondor Rangers; Isenguard pikeme; Isenguard swordsmen; Warg Riders; and Orcs. Beginners welcome. Scale: 25mm scale, 2-8 players; Game Master: Mike Baker.

11am-3pm – Hero Realms Tournament: $1 Entry, Swiss Rounds. Prizes based on turnout.

1pm – Warhammer 40K Team Tournament: 2-day team tournament. Three rounds Saturday, 2 rounds Sunday at 10am (all day both days). 6 tables, 2500 Points per team. Entry is $25. Full rules along with rule pack will be available in FB event to be published. For more information, click here.

1 pm-5 pm – Spy, a role-playing game of action and espionage. The agents travel to Detroit to investigate a bizarre incident. There might be clues to a foul combat drug and maybe even links to a shadowy organization called Daedalus. Beginners welcome

1pm-5pm – Splendor Tournament: $1 entry, Swiss rounds, prizes and promos.

1pm – Dungeons & Dragons (1st Edition AD&D): “The Dungeons of Dark Hammer Castle” (8 Players): This “old school dungeon crawl” uses Gary Gygax’s classic rules (easy to learn & easy to play). Join a group of 5th level adventurers delving into the chambers beneath Dark Hammer Castle. The deeper you go, the greater the rewards, but also the deadlier the peril! Try to beat the current high score in terms of accumulated treasure. Both Dark Hammer veterans and newcomers are welcome. The Dungeon Master, Eric the Cleric, provides all materials needed to play. Entry is FREE!

2pm – Rubber & Lead is a fast-paced game of automotive racing and combat! Come by for a quick couple laps around the track and enjoy watching the other car crash and burn as you take the checkered flag. All those toy cars have never been so entertaining. Race winners will be invited back later in the day for a final championship race. Gamemaster Christian Rekowski

2:30-6:30 pm Star Fleet Battles Multiplayer Game: Merchant, pirate, soldier, spy. Who is really who in this interstellar guessing game? Will use basic SFB rules, for experienced play. GM Mike Baker.

He will be running multiple sessions of Star Fleet Battle Force as “pick up games.” Star Fleet Battle Force is a fast-paced starship action card game. Compare the weapons cards in your hand to the ships in your Battle Force and launch your attack. The enemy responds with jamming, maneuvers, wild weasels, and damage control in a fierce effort to stay alive and counter-attack. The Federation, Klingons, Romulans, Gorns, Tholians, Kzintis, and Orion Pirates are in your Battle Force and ready for action.

Enhanced game system: some weapons can use more than one type of attack card. Many attack cards can be used for defense. Incremental damage recycles cards faster and gives more precise control over the action. Damage to ships can disable their weapons. Fighters, PF flotillas, Klingon Mutiny, Organian Ceasefire, Legendary Officers, and more. GM Mike Baker

6:30-9:30pm – StarDust Ground: 15mm company-scale sci-fi ground combat. What’s not to like? StarDust Ground is written and published by Savannahian Christian Rekowski. This year’s Gnomecon game will feature the canine soldiers of the Khans battling the robotic Mechan horde. This year, I promise there will be no sandstorm.

11am-12:00 pm – Speed Paint Competition: Prizes for the top three entries. Entrants will receive the same mini to paint, along with paints, brushes and other supplies. You then have one hour to paint the mini however you like. Entries will be judged by a panel of 3-5 judges based on detail, originality, and percentage of completion. Check at the Pathfinder Society table for an opportunity to hone your mini painting skills. There will be demos available throughout the con.
