‘I Drank What?’ Coming to GnomeCon
The popular game I Drank What? from Empire Games is coming to GnomeCon. I Drank What? is a hilarious card game of a cocktail party gone awry. Someone has been poisoning the guest’s drinks and they seem to be falling like flies. Each player matches wits with all the other party guests trying to avoid getting poisoned and trick other guests to drink the poisoned spirits instead. The game is loosely based on the scene in the movie Princess Bride when Westley outwits the dizzying intellect of Vizzini and tricks him into drinking from the poisoned chalice. The game is family friendly and does not condone or involve drinking alcohol of any sort.
It is the party of the year and all your worst enemies have been invited. You have brought along a bottle of poison to help spice the evening up. Funny, so did all the other guests. With all the witty banter and bumbling of the staff, you have lost track of which glasses of wine were poisoned. The only thing certain is that someone is going to die and the survivors will have a good laugh. It’s all in good fun, so long as you have the last one.
Each player has a card representing a glass of wine, face down in front of them; one of these glasses is poisoned. Eventually, everyone will have to take a drink and someone will die. The last person left alive in the party wins.
There will be several rounds of the I Drank What? game throughout the con at set intervals, with a grand champion round on Sunday at noon. Each champion will receive a great prize as well as the grand champion receiving a one-of-a-kind prize. Additional rounds could be played at random intervals if there is no survivor (yes, this happens a lot, you will see).
Empire Games is based out of Charlotte, NC and has been releasing fun and exciting card games for the past three years. Its current product line includes I Drank What? and Way of the Fist, the exciting two-fisted fighting card game.
